Build Something That Actually Matters

We're building a financial services practice that treats people like actual humans. If you're tired of corporate nonsense and want to do work that helps real Australian businesses succeed, we should probably talk.

What Working Here Actually Looks Like

Most days start with coffee and a quick team sync. Not the kind where everyone pretends to be busy—we actually discuss the problems we're solving that week. Sometimes it's helping a cafe owner in Burleigh understand their cash flow. Other times it's walking a startup through their first proper budget.

The work varies. You might spend Tuesday afternoon building financial models, then Wednesday morning explaining tax structures to someone who's never run a business before. It requires patience and the ability to translate finance-speak into normal human language.

We hired Sienna last September because she could explain compound interest using surfboard wax as an example. That's the kind of creative thinking that actually helps people understand money better.

Someone Who's Been Through It

I joined in September 2024 after working at one of the big firms in Brisbane. The difference? Here, we actually have time to understand client problems instead of just pushing products. Last month I spent three hours with a restaurant owner mapping out their expansion plans. At my old job, that would've been a 30-minute sales pitch.

Sienna spent five years in corporate finance before realizing she preferred helping small businesses over maximizing shareholder returns. She's particularly good at spotting cash flow issues before they become emergencies.

She runs our business strategy sessions on Thursday afternoons and has a weird talent for finding inefficiencies in expense reports. Clients seem to appreciate her directness—she'll tell you when your pricing model doesn't make sense.

Before finance, she studied marine biology. Make of that what you will.
